Why this game is special: Both these schools are members off the Greater Egg Harbor School District. Absegami won 9-6 last year to take the lead in the series.
The Oakcrest High School football team beat host Winslow Township 35-19 Saturday in a consolation game for its first victory of the season. Falcons quarterback Danny Smith scored on touchdown runs of 16, 5 and 13 yards on Saturday. Smith passed to LaShawn Elliott for a 28-yard score. Smith also lateralled to LaDarrell Dixon on a 49-yard touchdown play.
