Bower qualified for the second round of wrestlebacks with a 10-5 decision over Manny Dominguez of North Bergen. Bower broke open the match with a reversal and three-point near fall in the second period.

Bower's season ended in his next match, a 3-0 loss to Collin Boylan of Hunterdon Central. Boylan scored the winning points on an escape and takedown in the second period.


Bower dropped a 3-1 decision to Northern Highlands' Sean Kelly in the preliminaries. Kelly used a first-period takedown and second-period escape to grab a 3-0 lead. Bower's only point came on a third-period escape.
