12:15 p.m.: Construction on Route 9 in both directions near the Garden State Parkway in Somers Point. Traffic shift until 11:59 p.m. July 31.
12 p.m.: An accident in Dennis Township on N.J. 47 south just north of Tyler Road has temporarily closed all lanes. Traffic is being directed along the shoulder and motorists should expect a 10 to 15 minute delay.
9:30 a.m.: There is heavy traffic in Middle Township on U.S. 9 south approaching Delsea Drive.
8:15 a.m.: Travel Sunday morning looks smooth as there are little delays on major roadways and some rerouting in Stone Harbor.
Due to the Stone Harbor Triathlon, residents should expect town-wide delays until 9 a.m.
Road closures will include Third Avenue from 87th Street to 90th Street and Second Avenue from 87th Street to 90th Street.
Vehicles traveling north from locations south of 87th Street are urged to take Stone Harbor Blvd. to the Garden State Parkway. Vehicles can then re-enter the island via Avalon Blvd.
Vehicles attempting to travel south from locations north of 90th Street are urged to take Avalon Blvd. to the Garden State Parkway. Vehicles can then re-enter the island via Stone Harbor Blvd.
Travel time on the Garden State Parkway from the Raritan Toll Plaza to Atlantic City is one hour, 22 minutes; to Ocean City is one hour, 30 minutes; and to Wildwood is one hour, 55 minutes.
Travel time on the Atlantic City Expressway from Camden to Atlantic City is 44 minutes; to Ocean City is 51 minutes; and to Wildwood is one hour, 17 minutes.
