A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for southern New Jersey Wednesday.

MONDAY NIGHT► Continued mostly cloudy with the chance of some scattered showers or some patchy fog. Mild with lows only around 50.  South winds around 10mph.

TUESDAY►  Mostly cloudy once again with some periodic showers or even a thunderstorm, though it will not be a washout.  Still mild with highs in the mid 60s. South to southwest winds around 10mph.

WEDNESDAY► A few morning clouds, otherwise brighter and drier as skies become partly sunny.  Highs around 60 with a north-northwest breeze around 15mph.

THURSDAY► Mostly sunny skies, light winds, and probably the brightest and quietest day of the week overall.  A bit cooler with highs around 50-55 and a light ocean breeze from the northeast then the east around 10mph.

FRIDAY► Thickening clouds with a steady rain developing.  Highs around 50-55.  Southeast winds increasing to around 10-20mph.  Rain will continue into Friday night.

SATURDAY► Cloudy with some rain lingering at least through the morning, though it may try to taper off and dry out later in the day.  Highs in the mid 50s with a brisk northerly breeze.

SUNDAY► The better weekend day with partly to mostly sunny skies expected.  Dry and pleasant with highs in the mid 50s, seasonable for early April.
