Shari Tobias has created this work of art for the Tennessee Avenue space.

The Atlantic City Arts Foundation’s ARTeriors, now in its fifth iteration, will return to the city from May 19 to 27.

The program creates a pop-up art space that takes over vacant areas in the city. Artists create site-specific installations to highlight the property, beautify the space and amplify their own work. The vacant venue taken over this time is located at 14 S. Tennessee Ave. in Atlantic City.

Artists creating installations for ARTeriors include Ashley Collins, Kenneth Lazan Faulk, Jr., Erin Moore, Edwin Rivera and Shari Tobias and Matt Crowne, aka AC Anonymous. Bernie McCabe of Mazing Art Studio has also contributed to the ARTeriors by painting a mural called “Find Your Way” on the building, in conjunction with the A.C. Art’s Foundation’s other program,“48 Blocks Atlantic City.”

A VIP reception for ARTeriors will take place 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 18. The free exhibit will be open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, May 19 and 26, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays, May 20 and 27.
