Carole McCray

Carole McCray’s ‘Lemon and Vanilla Sky’ will be part of her solo art exhibit at the Mad Batter on Sunday.

The Mad Batter will host a showing for West Cape May artist Carole McCray’s original watercolors and oils. The open-to-the-public reception for “Of Land, Sea and Sky” will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, in the restaurant’s Terrace Garden Room. Light refreshments will be served.

McCray’s paintings capture the combination of soft and vibrant colors of our area’s marshes, sunsets and sea. “I paint what I feel, not so much as what I see, but a mood — a feeling evoked by the subject,” McCray says.

The Mad Batter is located at 19 Jackson St. in Cape May. Call 609-898-2250 for more info.
