AC Ballet Swan Like

The Atlantic City Ballet will kick off its 35th season with a special fundraiser celebration Thursday, July 27.

Before the season begins on Sunday, July 30, stop by for a fundraiser at Golden Nugget Atlantic City’s H2O pool 7 p.m. Thursday, called “Celebrate the Swan.” The event, named after the Ballet’s performance of “Swan Lake,” includes door prizes, food, drinks, a silent auction and ballet and music performances. Tickets are $45 or $75 and benefit the Ballet. Golden Nugget is located at 600 Huron Ave., Atlantic City.

Then on Sunday, catch the opening night of the new season, taking place at Caesars Atlantic City’s Circus Maximus Theater (2100 Pacific Ave.). The season opens with a performance of “Visions,” which celebrates various cultures through dance. Tickets are $45 with $12 tickets for A.C. residents.

New this year, the ballet is opening the doors to the public for its rehearsals, taking place noon to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays at Boardwalk Hall. Suggested donation is $10.
