Nicole Gaffney

The 2015 Restaurant Gala culinary honoree and “Food Network Star” finalist, Nicole Gaffney of Brigantine, will prepare her signature dish, Seared Scallops with Romesco and Crispy Prosciutto during the Restaurant Gala March 26.

Culinary students at Atlantic Cape Community College have been working long days to prepare the perfect meals for the 32nd annual Restaurant Gala, 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Bally’s Atlantic City.

The Restaurant Gala is a fundraiser for student scholarships to the college's Academy of Culinary Arts. With the theme “Under the Sea,” this year’s event will highlight hors d’oeuvres prepared by students as well as showcase 33 of the region’s best chefs and restaurants.

Students will join gala honoree, Nicole Gaffney — who competed on the television show “Food Network Star” — in preparing the perfect seafood dining experience with her signature dish: seared scallops with romesco and crispy prosciutto.

Attendees will also hear live music from Don’t Call Me Francis and The FM Band. Bally’s Atlantic City is located at 1900 Boardwalk, Atlantic City. Tickets are $225 per person. For more information and tickets go to Atlantic.edu/gala.
