Few things are more quintessentially spy-like than weaving through layers of lasers to reach the opposite end of a room, which is exactly what you can do at Encounters on the Ocean City Boardwalk. Its Laser Maze Challenge has players enter a dark room to duck, hop, stretch and bend over and under neon green lasers to reach checkpoints before time runs out. 832 Boardwalk, Ocean City. You’ll feel like you’re in the secret service at Tropicana’s Escape AC. It will take all of your mental acumen to solve the necessary puzzles to get out of one of these locked rooms before the hour runs out. Choose between four different themed rooms — The Poker Room, The Boardwalk, The Casino Cage or Backstage — to see if you and your friends got the stuff. 2831 Boardwalk, A.C. Tropicana.net.

It’s not enough to enjoy a classic James Bond martini at any old bar. For a Bond-approved night, stop by Martorano’s at Harrah’s Resort, the winner of Atlantic City Weekly’s Critics’ Choice for Best Swanky Lounge. We’re sure the bartenders there can accommodate any “shaken, not stirred” requests. Located at 777 Harrah’s Blvd., Atlantic City. Caesars.com/Harrahs-AC.

The Shaken, Not Stirred Players — whose name is a nod to this super spy — will perform the hilarious musical revue “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” from May 11 to 13 and May 18 to 20 at the Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point. The show is a tribute to those who have loved, lost or fallen on their face in the name of romance and those who have asked, “what are you doing Saturday night?” Think this doesn’t sound very James Bond-esque? Well, we have two words for you: Adult content. Tickets are $29, $39. 738 Bay Ave., Somers Point. GatewayByTheBay.org.
