Washington Street Mall at Christmastime

Before the heavy-set, jolly fellow of today’s Hollywood films, there was Father Christmas. That traditional embodiment of the Christmas spirit will visit Whale’s Tale in Cape May 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.

Kids should come with their Christmas lists, because Father Christmas will sit with each little tyke to be sure their wishes come true this year. Parents, bring your camera for free photo ops with Father Christmas and the kids, yourself, the dog or even the entire family.

The store will invite visitors to browse their selection of more than 250 Old World glass ornaments. Light refreshments will be served and admission is free. Whale’s Tale is located at 312 Washington Mall. Call 609-884-4808.
