Southside Johnny

HARD ROCK // 8 P.M. SATURDAY, NOV. 10; $19, $29

WHAT TO EXPECT: The epitome of the classic Jersey Shore sound, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes began their career in the early 1970s as the house band at the famed Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Combining blues and old school R&B with rock ’n’ roll, the Jukes developed and have maintained a strong cult following thanks to their sweaty, exhilarating live shows. A little help from their friends Bruce Springsteen and Steve Van Zandt with songwriting and production in the early days didn’t hurt either. Fans at the Hard Rock can expect to hear staples such as “The Fever,” “I Don’t Wanna Go Home,” “Hearts of Stone,” “This Time It’s For Real” and “Havin’ a Party.”
