ATLANTIC CITY — Providence Atlantic City, a night club at The Quarter at Tropicana Atlantic City, will close after Labor Day.
Bob Pereira, founder of Metronome Hospitality Group, the operator of the club, confirmed Tuesday the club is going to close.
“Tropicana has some plans for the location,” Pereira said, adding that the company is looking for another location in the city.
Providence features a 12,000-square-foot dance floor and accommodations for two DJs spinning from twin towers while guests can mingle on cushy sofas or at one of the two bars.
“We welcome guests to enjoy our 17 other nightlife venues and will look to open a new nightclub in that space in the near future,” said Steve Callender, Tropicana Atlantic City general manager
Metronome owns three locations in New York City, Providence in Atlantic City and a fifth space in Greenwood Lake, New York.
The club is open Thursday through Saturday.
