Ranch Hope Auxiliary #13 Atlantic County
Ranch Hope Auxiliary #13 Atlantic County will meet on Tuesday, May 28th at noon at Asbury United Methodist Church, 290 Asbury Ave., in EHT for a covered dish luncheon. Anyone interested in helping Ranch Hope, a place for troubled youth in Alloway, NJ is invited to attend.
Members are asked to bring prizes in paper bags for our Bingo fundraiser. Members are also reminded to bring sports bras for the girls and body wash and tooth paste for the boys at the Ranch. Also, we are collecting old cloth, old clothes and shoes for the Ranch. Whatever is not usable is sold by weight and proceeds go to the Ranch.
Founded in 1964, Ranch Hope's mission is to serve "at-risk" children by providing out-patient counseling, residential treatment, special education, independent living, adventure-based activities and day camps. The residential treatment center is located in Salem County and they accept referrals for young men between the ages of nine and sixteen that are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems to the extent that he requires temporary removal from his community.
Our auxiliary is seeking new members and encourages anyone who is interested to join us for lunch and learn more about Ranch Hope and what we do to support it.
