public notice is hereby given that i,
renee de salvo, certified tax collector
of the taxing district of the city of port republic,
county of atlantic, state of new jersey,
will expose for sale and sell at the public sale
monday, the 9th day of july 2018
at 11:00 a.m. at the city of port republic municipal building,
143 main street, port republic, new jersey
The lots and parcels of land are real property hereinafter set forth or any part of
said lands and real property as may be necessary on which taxes for the year 2017
and prior together with interest and costs computed up to the 9th day of July 2018 as
required under the provisions of Article 4, Chapter 5, Title 54 of the revised statues
of New Jersey, 1937, entitled “Sold of Real Property to Enforce Liens”, Section 54:519 to 54:5-111, and amendments thereto.
Take further notice, that said lands will be sold at 18% interest or less to make
the amount of municipal liens chargeable against redemption at the lowest rate of
interest. The payment for the sale shall be made before the conclusion of the sale by
cash, certified checK or money order, made payable to the
city of port republic only or the property shall be resold.
At any time before the sale, said collector will accept payment of the amount due
on any property with interest and costs incurred by cash, certified checK
or money order made payable to the city of port republic.

13:1K-6 et seq.) in addition, the municipality is precluded from issuing a tax sale

the prior owner or operator of the site. In the event the owner is on active duty with
the military, the tax collector should be notified immediately.
