St. Thomas Parish News

All Souls Day Mass

November is the month in which we especially remember the souls of our departed loved ones. On Sunday, November 11th, all those who died and were buried from St. Thomas during the past year will be memorialized. The names of each of the departed will be read out during the tolling of the bells during the Prayer of the Faithful. Family and friends are invited to come to the 11 a.m. mass to share in this meaningful tribute, and then stop in St. Philip Hall afterwards for coffee and doughnuts.

Hospitality Sunday

This Sunday, November 11th, is Hospitality Sunday. Feel free to stop in St. Philip Hall after the Sunday morning masses for a cup of coffee and a doughnut or sticky bun. While there, have your blood pressure checked by our skilled nursing staff. Spend a little time with friends and neighbors.

Calendar Club Raffle

Our 3-month calendars are now available for purchase. $20 will buy a calendar for January, February and March 2019 (a 90-day period). There will be daily drawings for the prize amount indicated on each day. Prizes range from $50 to $100 and winners names will be published. After each daily drawing the winning name will be re-deposited for future drawings, so you may win more than once. This calendar will make a wonderful holiday gift---a gift that keeps on giving. The calendars can be purchased at the Parish Office, Monday through Friday, during office hours.

November Anniversaries

Anyone celebrating an anniversary in November is invited to notify the office so we can publish your names in our weekly bulletins. Call the office or e-mail the bulletin editor at Let us all share in your happiness.
