Dennis Township Elementary and Middle School celebrated Pi 3.14 Day on Wednesday.
The students celebrated pi, the mathematical ratio between the diameter and circumference of a circle to match the date.
Students entered the building with music playing and pi decorations. Each grade was given challenging Pi Day match questions to complete and every student who got 100 percent correct was entered into a drawing. One hundred fifty students attained a perfect score and were honored. Apple pie was served during lunch time as well.
Eight students were drawn as winners to put pie in five of the teachers in the face and 13 more were selected to win various prizes. Eighth grader Caitlin McGurk memorized 84 numbers of the pi 3.14 sequence.
