VENTNOR — The North Beach Residents Association recently established a new scholarship for a student from the North Beach section of Ventnor who will attend Stockton University.

The association’s officers, Richard Gober and Stacey Jaskol, presented the first $2,000 scholarship to incoming Stockton freshman Julian Monslabe at the eighth annual Meet & Greet on June 16 at Uncle Gino’s.

Brian Jackson, chief operating officer of Stockton University’s Atlantic City campus, was the guest speaker at the event. He provided an update on Stockton’s new Atlantic City residential campus, which will open for classes in September.
