The Scullville Church Baseball Team of 1978 consisted of, back row, Fred Nickles, Bob Canning, Ron Loomis, Sherman Higbee, Charlie Sear, Gary Burnisky, Chuck Milton and Kim James; and front row, Billy Couchoud, Steve Murray, Carlos McLaughlin, John Murray, Ray Murray and Whitey Haak.

Upcoming Event

There is a new date for the Native Americans of New Jersey presentation.

The presentation by Richard Veit from Monmouth University at the Egg Harbor Township Community Center, 5045 English Creek Road, will take place 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30. A $2 donation is suggested.

GEHTHS members and students are free. 

The Greate Egg Harbor Township Historical Society Museum/Library is open to the public the first Saturday of each month from 1-3 and every Sunday from 1-3, weather permitting.

The museum is always looking for early photos and artifacts from the township’s history.

  • Take a picture when you travel of you or your group with one of our weeklies. Send us the picture with names, hometowns and the name of the place you visited.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

  • Letters must be fewer than 400 words and received by 9 a.m. Monday for publication the same week.
