Middle Township Police Department

The Middle Township Police Department made the following arrests Dec. 26-Jan. 3. This report contains only individuals who were arrested based on complaints signed by law-enforcement personnel, not complaints signed by private citizens. Those charged are presumed innocent.

Philip J. King, 39, of Villas was arrested Dec. 26 by Patrolman Ritterhoff and charged with possession of drugs and possession or distribution of hypodermic needle or syringe.

Jayson Ramos-Ocasio, 28, of Wildwood was arrested Dec. 26 by Patrolman Frangieh and charged with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tracy A. Defabio, 44, of Blackwood was arrested Dec. 26 by Patrolman Hofmann and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Brian Askew, 27, of Woodbine was arrested Dec. 27 by Patrolman Ritterhoff and charged with possession of drugs, distribution of drugs under one-half ounce, and distribution of drug paraphernalia.

Walter Tracey, 53, of Rio Grande, was arrested Dec. 27 by Patrolman Ritterhoff and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and distribution of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher V. Fox, 32, of Woodbine was arrested Dec. 27 by Patrolman Reardon on an active warrant and Dec. 28 by Patrolman Flounders and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card.

Alvin J. McCoy, 54, of Atlantic City was arrested Dec. 28 by Patrolman Zeller and charged with shoplifting.

Georgie A. Tyson, 35, of Atlantic City was arrested Dec. 28 by Patrolman Zeller and charged with shoplifting.

Anthony E. Johnson, 29, of Rio Grande was arrested Dec. 30 by Patrolman Dececco and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Shadea Murphy, 22, of Rio Grande was arrested Dec. 30 by Patrolman Martindale and charged with disorderly conduct.

Shadea L. Murphy, 22, of Rio Grande was arrested Dec. 30 by Patrolman Martino and charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Timothy Casella, 32, of Rio Grande was arrested Jan. 2 by Patrolman Hagan and charged with shoplifting.

Clarissa I. Oyola, 36, of Atlantic City was arrested Jan. 2 by Patrolman Zeller and charged with shoplifting and conspiracy.

Tara L. Tomes, 31, of Villas was arrested Jan. 3 by Patrolman Zeller and charged with endangering the welfare of children, possession of drugs and driving while intoxicated.
