Alc Learning Center was visited by Amy Phillips, Miss Cape May County on October 4. The children were delighted to see her beautiful crown and hear about how she earned such a prestigious title. Miss Cape May County told them how important it is to have a goal, work hard towards it, and to believe in yourself. She asked each student what they wanted to be when they grew up and explained what it meant to have a career.
The students were eager to tell her that her visit was in the middle of Letter C Week, and Miss Cape May County, wearing a Crown, and talking about Careers was perfect examples of our week's lesson.
