Governor Chris Christie late Thursday announced the nominations of nine people to the Stockton University Board of Trustees.
The nominations for the reappointment of trustees whose terms had expired include:
_ Current board president Madeleine Deininger of Sonoma, CA, a Stockton graduate who also has a house in Margate. She has been on the board since 2007.
_ Dean C. Pappas of Philadelphia, a former board president who has served on the board since 2006.
_ Stanley M. Ellis, of Riverton, Burlington County, who has been on the board since 2004.
_ Michael Jacobson, of Margate City, an attorney who has been on the board since 1985.
_ Raymond R. Ciccone, of Surf City, Ocean County, a Stockton alumnus and accountant who has been on the board since 2012.
The nominated new appointments are:
_ Barbara J. Morvay, of Boynton Beach, Fla., former superintendent of the Atlantic County Special Services School, who had previously served on the board but resigned after the college purchased Showboat casino.
_ Attorney Ellen D. Bailey, of Egg Harbor City.
_ Andrew Dolce of Valley Cottage, NY, a founder of Dolce Resorts, which has run the Seaview Resort and Golf Club owned by Stockton.
_ Margaret M. Worthington of Galloway Township, a former Galloway Township Councilwoman.
All must still be approved by the Senate.
