This is a sampling of the estimated 300,000 pictures Philadelphia photographer John W. Mosley shot from the 1930s through the 1960s. They include tens of thousands from Chicken Bone Beach, as Atlantic City’s black beach was known. Mosley’s archives are now housed at Temple University in Philadelphia.
