Students at school districts across the region celebrated Pi Day on Thursday, March 14 with a variety of math and science related activities. PiDay.org says Pi is a mathematical constant used often in geometry that represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to it's diameter. Pi Day is celebrated March 14 because the number Pi is often rounded to 3.14.
