The Atlantic City Seafood Festival will once again partner with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey by donating proceeds from the festival, according to a press release.
Last year, through the festival’s Chowder Cook-Off, the festival, along with other restaurants, were able to raise close to $10,000, which is the equivalent of $100,000 in food distributed throughout New Jersey.
Festival attendees will be able to participate by donating $5 at the Food Bank tent outside the festival. They will then be given tickets to try each chowder, as well as three votes to pick their favorite chowder.
The festival takes place on New Jersey Avenue on Atlantic City’s boardwalk on Saturday, September 9, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, September 10, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
