Dear Franny the Shopaholic: I have a recipe from the 1980s for a frozen citrus pie that calls for a 6-ounce can of frozen lemonade concentrate. Are frozen concentrates still available? — Cathy G.

Dear Cathy: Minute Maid’s website has frozen limeade on it, but not frozen lemonade. However, the website lists a 12-ounce can of frozen concentrated Minute Maid lemonade for $2.79. I also found a recipe to make it. You need 1½ cups of sugar, 1 cup of water and 8 medium lemons (1.5 cups of juice). The recipe is at I emailed you both links.

Dear Franny the Shopaholic: Please find Mentadent toothpaste made by Arm & Hammer. — Gail, Ocean City

Dear Gail: According to Arm & Hammer’s website, Mentadent is no longer available. I emailed you a list of toothpastes they still make, in hopes you can find something similar. Often when something is discontinued you can find it at dollar stores. I am sure if our readers see it, they will write in. You can purchase 12 packs of Mentadent SR toothpaste on for $30.99. I emailed you both links.

Dear Franny the Shopaholic: I have noticed cut-out coupons for ShopRite have not been in The Press of Atlantic City on Sundays and Wednesdays for the past three weeks. I feel bad for seniors who do not have computers and cannot use the digital coupons. Do you think this is the end of these coupons? Also, I am having trouble finding Orange Glo 2-in-1 spray cleaner for woodwork. The last time I bought it was at Home Depot. I have looked everywhere. Can you help? — Maureen T., North Wildwood

Dear Maureen: Many readers have inquired about the ShopRite ads with the coupons that appeared in both the Sunday and Wednesday Press. Although ShopRite is no longer running coupons every Sunday and Wednesday, it will still run them on selected weeks throughout the year. If you wish to call ShopRite and ask them to resume the ads, the main number for ShopRite’s executive offices in Springfield, New Jersey, is 973-467-2200.

According to Orange Glo’s website, Walmart carries the cleaners.

Dear Franny the Shopaholic: You recently had an air fryer in your column that was less than $100. Is it still on sale, or is there any on sale? — Patricia L., Egg Harbor City

Dear Patricia: This week, a 5.5-quart Chefman air fryer is on sale at Boscov’s for $79.99 through Saturday.
