What's being billed as the ultimate prom show, "Catwalk Jam: Prom Edition," will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing.

Atlantic County Technical Institute and Oakcrest High School will join other area high schools to show off prom fashions from mall retailers, including Charlotte Russe, Dress Me Up, Francesca's, JCPenney, MAC at Macy's, MW Tux, Sears, Sunglass Hut and more in the mall's Center Court.

"The purpose of the event is two-fold - to give the retailers an opportunity to showcase their formal wear collections and to allow local students to participate in a fun fashion event," said Catwalk Jam organizers Lamont and Jeana Bowling, the executive producers of Atlantic City Fashion Week. "Project Runway" winner Jay McCarroll, the Hamilton Mall fashion ambassador, hosts the event.
