Nuisance Flooding Palermo Ocean City

Andrea Palermo (back) and her son Chase, bring in patio furniture from her outside deck prior to coastal storm hitting the area, Tuesday March 20, 2018. Palermo and her two children Annie 17, and Chase, 12 live on Somerset Lane in the Merion Park section of Ocean City near the 34th Street Bridge and are accustomed to tidal flooding in the neighborhood during coastal storms. This is my first newspaper but not my first forecast for NJ. I graduated with a B.S. in Meteorology from Rutgers. Two TV internships gave me a taste for the newsroom. Then, after nearly 4 years in private NJ weather, I'm forecasting South Jersey for you.
