OLD BRIDGE — A man is facing charges following an early morning crash involving a car and a pickup truck that killed two people, including a teenager, authorities said.

Tristan Rodriguez, 23, of Old Bridge, is charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and fourth-degree assault by auto in the crash, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Prosecutors alleged he was intoxicated when his car crashed into the back of the pickup shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday near the JCP&L building.

Krystal Diaz, 29, of Old Bridge, was killed along with a 17-year-old girl whose name wasn’t released.

Rodriguez and the 20-year-old truck driver were also injured.
