ATLANTIC CITY — A Pennsylvania man is facing weapons charges after he was found Tuesday with a handgun, 119 rounds of ammunition and two magazines following a motor vehicle stop on Route 30, police said.

Officers said a concerned citizen alerted them at 2:30 p.m. that Kevin Hennessey, 63, of Havertown, was driving in Atlantic City and armed with a handgun.

Detectives Will Herrerias and Darrin Lorady located the vehicle on Route 30. Hennessey was detained after detectives stopped the vehicle.

Hennessey was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of hollow-point ammunition and possession of a high-capacity magazine. He was taken to the Atlantic County jail.
