MAYS LANDING — Two Atlantic City men have been indicted in the shooting of another city man March 12, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced Thursday.

Howard Cassell, 30, has been indicted in the death of Da’Quan Montague, 23, from a shooting on North New Jersey Avenue in the resort.

Cassell faces charges of second-degree reckless manslaughter, second-degree possession of a firearm without a permit and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Tajai Hicks-Anderson, 23, also of Atlantic City, has been indicted on charges of third-degree aggravated assault.

The investigation was conducted by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Atlantic City Police Department.
