Robbery suspect

Authorities say this surveillance footage shows Thomas Allen about to rob an OceanFirst Bank on Tuesday in Mays Landing.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — Police are looking for a man who robbed the Ocean First Bank in Mays Landing on Tuesday morning, they said.

The robber gave a note to a teller and was given an undetermined amount of cash, police said. He left in an unknown direction. No one was injured during the robbery.

Police arrived at the bank at 5401 Harding Highway at 9:19 a.m.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned black man in his 30s or 40s, police said. He was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark jacket with a striped button-up shirt, khaki pants and black shoes. He had a medium build and a full beard.
