Two U.S. senators will join Congressman Frank LoBiondo today for tours of West Wildwood, Sea Isle City and Atlantic City. The two Cape May County shore resorts were among the most heavily damaged in the weekend’s nor’easter.

Booker and LoBiondo will be joined by U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez at 12:30 p.m. for a meeting in Sea Isle City with Mayor Leonard Desiderio and Police Chief Thomas D’Intino, the city’s emergency management coordinator.

At 2 p.m., the three representatives will be joined by local officials for a tour in Atlantic City.

Monday, Acting Gov. Kim Guadagno, accompanied by Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Bob Martin, visited four storm-damaged coastal communities to assess beach erosion and learn what challenges faced the mayors of Stone Harbor and North Wildwood as those towns recover from problems caused by record-setting high tides.
