A Vineland woman who worked as a public safety telecommunicator for the State Police was killed in a crash Friday while she was traveling to work, State Police said.

Renee Wright, 26, was driving her 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe at Route 206 and Flyatt Road in Tabernacle, Burlington County, when there was a three-vehicle collision after the driver in front of Wright failed to yield. Wright’s vehicle was then struck by a Ford van, according to police.

The crash is still under investigation.

Wright graduated in the 49th State Police Safety Telecommunicator Class last year and was a graduate from the 81st State Police Trooper Youth Week in the summer of 2009.
