HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — A one-car crash on a slippery Ocean Heights Avenue shut down a portion of the road for three hours Saturday.

According to police, Gary Buondonno, 55, of Somers Point, attempted to pass another car while driving west on Ocean Heights when he lost control of his car due to the slippery conditions from Saturday’s snowfall.

Buondonno crashed into a telephone pole and his vehicle overturned. He was not injured, according to police, but the road was shut down due to downed wires.

Assisting at the scene were the Hamilton Township Rescue Squad, Mays Landing Fire Department, Atlantic City Electric and representatives of Comcast.
