Atlantic County canine graduation

Police K-9 handlers graduate Friday at Stockton University's Campus Center.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — The Atlantic County Police Training Center on Friday held a K9 Patrol Scent Class 2 graduation at the Stockton University Campus Center.

The program, which was held at the John "Sonny" Burke Canine Training Facility, was to assist departments in training their K-9 teams. Handlers completed 22 weeks of training with their dogs.

Among the area graduates were Cumberland County Sheriff's Officer Darrell Meyers and Kash, Hamilton Township Patrolman Cory Silvio and Argos, and Wildwood Patrolman Christopher Katz and Vera.
