Thursday’s fire at Sure Storage on Chestnut Street in Somers Point burned up property belonging to Gateway Playhouse, including props, costumes and set dressing.

SOMERS POINT — A fire that severely damaged a city storage facility last month is still under investigation, officials confirmed.

The Jan. 30 blaze at Sure Storage, in the first block of Chestnut Street, was under investigation by the state Division of Fire Safety, city fire Chief Jim Somers said Friday.
