BRIDGETON — More than $100,000 in cash and other items was stolen from the home of a grandmother this month, police said.

Officers arrived Saturday afternoon at a house on Magnolia Avenue for a report of a burglary.

The victim’s grandson told officers his grandmother was not living in the home due to health reasons.

Some of the stolen items included $70,000 in cash, $50,000 in gold coins, $50,000 in silver certificates, an Apple computer, cameras, TVs, $5,000 worth of Depression-era silverware and plates that are green and pink in color, and a 1980 Kawasaki motorcycle.

A light-skinned, black male was seen in the driveway loading totes into an older-model pickup, police said.
