PLEASANTVILLE — A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint April 16 while trying to make a delivery to what turned out to be a vacant home.

The Pizza Di Roma driver went to make the delivery at 6:30 p.m. to 304 Sassafras Run, Capt. Matt Hartman said.

The suspect brandished a handgun and robbed the victim of money and his wallet, according to the report.

The victim was not injured.

Police were unable to locate the suspect during a search of the area. The Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating.
