PLEASANTVILLE — A city man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting Saturday night in the 600 block of Tilton Road, according the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Josue Demosthenes, 29, was found with gunshot wounds by police officers who responded to the area at 6:53 p.m. after multiple reports of gunfire, the Prosecutor’s Office said. He was later pronounced dead at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, authorities said.

A 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were also wounded in the shooting, according to the Prosecutor’s Office. They were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, with nonlife-threatening injuries and listed in stable condition Sunday morning, authorities said. The Prosecutor’s Office did not release their names.

Officials were scheduled to perform an autopsy Sunday on Demosthenes, authorities said.
