MILLVILLE — A man was taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries after being shot early Sunday morning on East Broad Street, police said.

The shooting occurred about 6:45 a.m. in the area of the Oakview Apartments, located at 1701 E. Broad St., Sgt. Shawn Matos said. The man who was shot was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, he said.

No one has been arrested in connection to the shooting, and detectives from the department are actively investigating the incident, Matos said.

Matos said no additional details were immediately available about the victim or the shooting.
