ATLANTIC CITY — A memorial will be dedicated in honor of first responders Thursday morning. 

The memorial will be located at St. James Place and the Boardwalk. Local business owner and philanthropist Cathy Burke will unveil a new addition to the memorial.

The event will start at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church a 10 a.m., following a mass the group will proceed to the dedication. 

Pacific Avenue from New York to Tennessee and the beach blocks of Tennessee Avenue and St. James Place will be closed to traffic from approximately 10am to 12:30pm, according to police.
