EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — The driver of a pickup truck lost control of his vehicle Tuesday night, crashed through a small fence and plunged into the marsh off Route 30, police said.

Nobody was hurt.

Atlantic City police closed one westbound lane of Route 30 while city fire crews worked to remove the truck from the marsh. They used tools to cut a section of link fence and placed wooden planks on the marsh to reach the vehicle.

One lane of Route 30 was closed briefly while they removed the truck.
