Police make arrest for firearm in vehicle in Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE — City police arrested one person for having a firearm in a vehicle Tuesday night, according to Capt. Matthew Hartman.

Several police cars blocked the west end of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue at the Route 9 intersection, where officers had pulled over a a red pick up truck. 

Hartman told the Press a firearm was found in the truck and an arrest was made.

No further information, including the identity of the driver,  was released.
