PLEASANTVILLE — Only minor injuries were reported after a minivan and ambulance collided Tuesday morning at Decatur Avenue and Main Street, police said.
Officers responded to the scene at 11:33 a.m., police Chief Sean Riggin said.
The ambulance was traveling north on Main Street with its lights and siren on and a patient inside when the crash occurred, while the beige Nissan Quest minivan was traveling east on Decatur Avenue, Riggin said.
One of the EMTs and one of the people in the van complained of pain after the crash, Riggin said. They and the patient in the ambulance were taken to area hospitals.
Main Street was closed from Ansley Boulevard to the Black Horse Pike for about 30 minutes, Riggin said.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
