It's the first video edition of monthly climate roundup with New Jersey State Climatologist David Robinson. Robinson and Meteorologist Joe Martucci recap a February so mild and snow-free, we're near the top of the record books (1:20). The two then move on to the winter that wasn't, and why the pattern just couldn't put much snow on the ground (11:50).
With a wildfire already in N.J. and plenty of controlled burns, Robinson says the warm winter doesn't necessarily means a severe fire season. The same goes for a hot summer, too (21:40). Martucci then wraps up with Robinson's March so busy, he's skipping over spring break.
