MAYS LANDING — An Egg Harbor Township man has been indicted in the February murder of a man in Pleasantville, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced Monday.

Troy Demby, 36, was indicted on charges including murder, felony murder, robbery, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a handgun for unlawful purposes and possession of a handgun by a person previously convicted of a crime.

At 7:52 a.m. on Feb. 2, Pleasantville police responded to a 911 call. They arrived to find Raphael G. Terrigino, 30, dead inside his vehicle. Tyner said an autopsy determined the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head.

On Feb. 7, Demby was located in a home, where police also seized 10 ounces of cocaine. He also was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, Tyner said.

Demby remains held at the Atlantic County jail until his arraignment, which is scheduled for May 21.
