VINELAND - Two men are dead after shots were fired into a vehicle on West Grape Street.

Police arrived on the 100 block at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday and found three victims with gunshot wounds, two of whom were unresponsive.

One victim, Kevin Peterson, 20, of Vineland, was flown to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City where he later died.

The second unresponsive victim was identified as Damian Mills, 22, of Vineland. Mills died at the scene.

The third victim, also a Vineland resident, who police are not identifying, suffered gunshot wounds and was treated at Cooper Medical Center where they are reported to be in stable condition.

The investigation is actively being investigated cooperatively by the Vineland Police Department’s Detective Bureau and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving the shooting.
