HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — A Somers Point woman was ejected from her car in a motor vehicle crash Wednesday on Weymouth Road, township police said.

Corina Hallock, 45, of Somers Point, was driving a 2003 Lexus north on Weymouth Road when she lost control, left the road and struck a utility pole, police said. The car split in half and Hallock was ejected.

The Hamilton Township Rescue Squad and AtlantiCare paramedics transported Hallock to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus in Atlantic City, for serious injuries, police said.

The Weymouth Volunteer Fire Department was on the scene, and Weymouth Road was closed for approximately two hours. The crash is under investigation.
