Who should be responsible for Jersey shore boardwalks?

The Atlantic City Boardwalk is in visible need of repairs. ‘The whole Boardwalk, except maybe the new section (that spans the northern-most area of Absecon Island around to Gardner’s Basin), needs to be redone,’ says City Council President Marty Small Sr.

City officials and locals say the world famous boardwalk needs attention, but the question of who should ultimately be responsible for the costly, and constant, maintenance arose after Gov. Phil Murphy recently vetoed a recent bill for neighboring Wildwood.
