VINELAND — A woman faces charges of driving while intoxicated after leaving the scene of a car crash, police said.

Ashley DePalma, 33, of Pittsgrove, is charged with DWI, reckless driving, failing to maintain a lane and leaving the scene of a collision following a two-car crash on South Delsea Drive and West Garden Road, police said.

DePalma allegedly left the scene of the crash but followed by the other driver involved in the crash. The other driver contacted police while following her and the accused's vehicle was located at Forest Grove and Mill roads, police said.

DePalma failed the field sobriety tests given and was transported to police headquarters. While at headquarters, DePalma provided a breath sample yielding more than three times the legal limit, police said.
